Since ranking combines activity and winnings across every category rather than crediting just one, there's no single "best" category to chase — steady play in a favorite category counts the same as the same volume spread across several. It's the combined total at the period's close that matters.
And because standings reset each period, a slow start doesn't rule out a strong finish — plenty of players see the biggest jumps happen in the final stretch as totals catch up.
